There is a spectacular urban bat colony of up to 50,000 bats living under IH-35 bridge near Round Rock, Texas. Throughout Texas, road bridges are being designed with crevasse to attract new colonies of friendly and beneficial bats. These bats save the state of Texas hundreds of millions of dollars in natural pest control.
