The 6th Street entertainment district is a ghoust town after an effort to stop the spread of the new coronavirus, bars and restaurants closed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions. Austin Mayor Steve Adler ordered all Restaurant, bars, and other businesses to close by offical city mandate.
