In this panorama image, a beautiful pink clouds like cotton candy paint the Austin Skyline, a phenomenon known as the violet crown sunset.jpg
On a beautiful summer’s evening, this aerial panorama photograph of downtown Austin and the skyline taking from the Zilker Clubhouse over Lady Bird Lake shows pink cloud formations sometimes called the “violet crown” found above the Austin Cityscape. Inset, the Mopac Loop 1 expressway is Austin busiest highway in Austin’s transportation corridor. In the far distance, the “Jenga Tower” (formally known as the Independent) tops out at 685’ and is the tallest highrise in Austin’s ever booming skyline, narrowly eclipsing the Austonian (683’).
